June is Social Sciences Month

The APECS Research Activity Committee is dedicating the month of June to Social Sciences. For the occasion we will be updating our webpage with information on what APECS members are doing, who our mentors are, and how to find out more about polar social sciences. We will also be proposing all kinds of activities such as a virtual poster session and a workshop in connection with the seventh International Congress of Arctic social Sciences in Akureyri Iceland. If you have ideas for “June is Social Sciences” highlights, or interested in actively participating in the event, you can email Rosa Rut Thorisdottir.  One of the goals is to improve the APECS "Social Sciences" webpage and the Social Sciences young researcher’s community.
