The Polar and Alpine Microbiology Conference 2026 is still accepting registrations until 19th December 2025

The next Polar and Alpine Microbiology (PAM) Conference will take place 12–16 January 2026 in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The meeting will bring together researchers working on microbial diversity, function, and adaptation in polar and alpine environments, continuing the long-running PAM conference series.

The scientific programme will cover topics including microbial biogeography, biogeochemical processes, adaptation mechanisms in the cryosphere, astrobiology, eukaryotic and viral diversity, and the impacts of global change. Networking events and social activities are also planned.

Confirmed keynote speakers include Claudia Coleine, Martyn Tranter, Jackie Goordial, Christopher Bellas, Rachel Mackelprang, and Timothy M. Vogel.
