New IASSA President elected

Peter Sköld, vice-chair of IASC Social & Human Working Group and director of the Arctic Research Centre at Umeå University, Sweden has been elected new president of IASSA (International Arctic Social Science Association) during the ICASS VIII conference in Prince George, Canada. IASSA has +1,500 members representing more than 20 countries. Sköld has been elected for three years, a period that ends with the ICASS IX conference being arranged in Umeå in 2017.
