The 2018 Award nomination submission deadline has been extended. The closing deadline will be January 15, 2018.
At ASSW in Prague this year, the IASC Council discussed how to increase the diversity in nominations, so that they may reflect the wide range of high-caliber scientists in the Arctic. To help achieve this goal, the Secretariat wants to extend the customary submission deadline. We hope that with an extension of the deadline you will have more time to prepare detailed nominations, outlining the important reasons why your peer or colleague should be considered for an Award.
